Meet Scruffy the Disgruntled Elf who can be best described as being sarcastic, grumpy and with little patience for the magical foolishness at his assigned position at the North Pole.

He is in charge of the complaint department, where he is tall and is office is small. He is in charge of handling the mail and phone calls from unhappy kids and parents who received a toy that broke as Santa was carrying it down the chimney.

Sometimes Scruffy can magically fix them, other times he ends up sending them off to the island of Misfit Toys.

Your guests will never know what to expect next in his little corner of Santa’s workshop. Just the other day a puppet rabbit which had lost a button was put in a box and the Christmas Magic turned him into a real 20-pound rabbit dressed in a Santa suit!

Not only that, the rabbit performed a card trick. Imagine this! One of your guests selects a card and the rabbit finds it… pulling it out with his teeth!

As disgruntled as he is, he really wants to be an American Idol, Scruffy is one of Santa’s favorite Elves. He invented a way for Santa to know where his reindeer are at all times. He demonstrates this to your guests as each child secretly takes a brown ball from a bag and one child of course takes out the red one to represent Rudolph. Scruffy uses the Christmas Magic and is able to tell which child secretly hides the ball representing Rudolph… it’s almost like real magic.

Scruffy magically fixes a set of dog tags meant for one of your guest’s family pet. When they tell the name of their pet, Scruffy tells them to turn over the dog tags and look at the name engraved on them. It matches the name of their pet!
